The Vineyards San Diego
Hacienda de las Rosas mission-style winery, Ramona

Hacienda de las Rosas

A mission-style home and winery overlooking an avocado grove, sprawling vineyards, a horse ranch, and the Ramona Valley. Owners William Holzhauer and Tammy Rimes spent more than a decade building the property as an homage to the Spanish missionaries who first brought vines to California — and the wines are named after the family's horses.

Settle in under the oak trees with a full-bodied red and the valley spread out below.
